A rose is not just a pretty thing,

It’s a quiet song that hearts can sing.

It speaks without a single word,

A language soft, but always heard.

 

Red or pink, or white and fair,

It shows the love that’s always there.

A gentle touch, a silent care,

In every petal, feelings share.

 

A rose can heal a broken heart,

Or bring two souls who’ve grown apart.

It holds the hopes we dare to keep,

In every thorn, a secret deep.

 

So, when I give this rose to you,

Know my love is pure and true.

For in this flower, soft and bright,

A rose is love - my heart’s own light.
