Rain-Kissed Heart
By
Arman Rashid
The colors of nature begin to change,
A shifting beauty, soft and strange.
She never wants to stay the same,
Sun and rain, her perfect game.
That noon the sky turned cloudy gray,
The warm breeze slowly slipped away.
I stood beside the window sill,
The world grew quiet, calm and still.
Rain hit the roof with a tender sound,
A melody where peace is found.
While others saw just mess and mud,
I saw pure joy in every flood.
Your name still echoes in the rain,
My silent love, my sweetest pain.
Forevermore, I’ll hold you near,
In every drop, you’ll reappear.
