You never said you loved me loud,

But your silence always felt proud.

When you looked, the world stood still,

Like love obeyed your quiet will.

 

You smiled when I was torn in two,

And somehow, I became brand new.

No poems, no promises, just you-

Soft as dawn, and just as true.

 

We never kissed beneath the rain,

But your name healed every pain.

You held my hand without a sound,

And that’s where my soul was found.
