Is Love Truly Sacred?
By
Arman Rashid
They say that love is pure and bright,
A gift that makes the dark feel light.
It knows no rich, it knows no poor,
It lifts the heart and helps it soar.
But why can’t love break family’s wall?
Why does it stop when bloodlines speak?
If it can face the storms that call,
Why must it bend, so soft, so weak?
Is love the truth, or just a flame,
A fleeting joy we cannot claim?
I’ve seen it bloom in tender hands,
Then fade away like drifting sands.
Why can’t my people see with honest eyes,
That love is equal under all the skies?
When hearts turn cold and dreams slip through the air,
A quiet dawn still waits for those who dare.
