The Garden of Your Love
by
Arman Rashid
I found your face in morning’s grace,
The sunlight danced upon your face.
The sky turned pink, the world stood still,
My heart obeyed your silent will.
The breeze would speak with gentle sound,
As petals slowly touched the ground.
The birds would fly, the trees would bend,
And nature knew you were my friend.
Your laughter stayed in drops of rain,
It washed away my deepest pain.
The rivers sang your name so sweet,
Their rhythm matched my heartbeat’s beat.
You are my calm, my evening’s peace,
Your voice can make the thunder cease.
And when I walk through fields of green,
I thank the stars for what has been.
