The Untuched Kiss

The Untouched Kiss

By

Arman Rashid

I see your lips, so close, not near,

I wish to kiss, but hold my fear.

A gentle touch I cannot try,

My heart just aches, I do not lie.

Our eyes have met, my soul feels warm,

In quiet glance, a secret charm.

The night is calm, the air is sweet,

A kiss waits where our hearts may meet.

Though distance keeps us far apart,

I keep this wish inside my heart.

The silent words I cannot say,

Are hopes of love that might one day.

One day perhaps, our lips will touch,

And make our dreams mean just as much.

Till then I wait, I softly miss,

The gentle hope of one true kiss.
