They call me close, they hold my hand.
Each sound is soft, it feels so true,
It brings my lonely heart to you.
The sea is wide, the water deep,
Its beauty stays, the joy I keep.
The waves still sing both day and night,
They make my world so full of light.
A plane goes high across the sky,
Small boats move slow, they pass me by.
The breeze is calm, it feels so sweet,
It makes my tired soul complete.
The sea moves on, so wild, so free,
A gift of peace for you and me.
The sunset falls, the colors stay,
My heart will live beside the bay.
