It lives in silence, yet it sets me free.
No broken promises, no fear to see,
Only quiet hope inside of me.
There is a wide and endless sky,
Where all my secret feelings fly.
Your gentle smile never says goodbye,
It stays with me as days pass by.
Maybe I will not hold you near,
Maybe your face is not always clear.
Still, your short visits calm my fear,
And leave sweet memories year by year.
You come each night for a little while,
And leave my heart with a simple smile.
Though morning comes and you are gone,
Your warmth remains and helps me move on.
I live each day with your light above,
For my whole heart belongs to dream love.

Some love looks beautiful from afar soft, perfect, untouched. But up close, it’s often fragile, complicated, and not meant to be held. Sometimes, distance is what keeps it beautiful.
