She is a quiet star inside my heart, 
Closer than breath and every beat I know; 
In her soft love, my fears all fall apart, 
And time moves slow in gentle, golden glow. 

The noisy world grows silent like the night, 
Even my name feels lighter on my tongue; 
Her simple smile turns darkness into light, 
And makes my tired soul feel fresh and young.

She is like rain that cools my burning days, 
Like a sweet song that softly stays with me; 
Her tender touch rewrites my broken ways, 
And sets my lonely heart completely free. 

I do not love her as a passing dream, 
She is my truth, my hope, my constant beam.
